Compassionate Families

Gladness for Mourning

Description
This group was started by a simple, God-inspired phone conversation between grieving women with a heart to build a community of friends where encouragement and healing can take place in the area of Miscarriage, Stillbirth, SIDS (infant death), Infertility and Adoption challenges. Our goal: To gather together and connect with families who have faced similar loss and to share our stories and resources as we focus on the hope we have in Jesus. Global Day of Prayer – 90 Days of Blessing

Description
Come discover how being a blessings will richly bless you! Join adults & youth from throughout the metro area in being a blessing to North Minne-apolis with prayer walks, service projects, and outreaches. Volunteers are needed to prepare and serve meals, remodel and beautify buildings, bless through praying, and provide administrative support. We will be partnering with Joseph’s Hammer to coordinate service projects.

Mary’s Place

Description
Calling all you kids-at-heart! Mary’s Place needs us to come and be kids… with kids! The little girls just want to be loved and held, and the little boys just want to play sports and beat up on the guys! Mary’s Place has a hous-ing program for single mothers in transition from abusive relationships, homelessness, and poverty. Description

Parenting with Purpose Outreach Ministry
