Sometimes you hear stories that spark the imagination and cultivate your faith about unshakable men and women doing extraordinary things. Miracle workers, some might say. I can recall a time or two hearing this kind of lore regarding characters on the other side of the world. “If only that kind of thing could happen here,” may cross our minds when we hear such tales. It can. And it does.
