Every week Café de Fide serves up a variety of hot beverages. We are looking for people who love to foster fellowship among  churchgoers. All skill levels are welcome!

Hospitality Team

Think church functions should have more to eat than chips and salsa? Every week the Hospitality Team has multiple opportunities to serve the ministry teams & sub groups by providing food and beverages for Substance events.

Info Center

Got Questions? See the Info Center! Help newcomers and other churchgoers by answering questions, hosting the sign-up sheets, organizing the sermon CD’s.

Parking Team

Do you dream of wearing a reflective safety vest? Or drool at the thought of continually waving your arm in a circular motion while pointing with the other? Do you smile at the sight of a traffic wand?

If you answered yes to ANY of these questions, or even if you answered NO, we need you to be involved in the Parking Ministry! Help eliminate confusion before people even get to the door.

Greeters

Be the face of Christ that people see when they come to church. Make people feel welcome and at home by handing out bulletins, answering questions and directing them where to go.

Ushers

Get involved with helping people find a great seat! What a great way to usher an attendee into the presence of the living God. We also adjust the lights during the services, count weekly attendance and assist with the offering.

Substance Load Out

Be a part of the movement that does the most moving. We have two teams: Load-In and Load-Out. The Load-In team comes early, unloads the trailer, sets up equipment and then goes to church. This team works specifically with setting up the foyer and Kids Connection ministries.

Kids Connection

Do you enjoy hanging out with kids and long to make an impact in their lives? Kids Connection serves children ages 6 weeks to 12 years old on Sunday mornings at both campuses. We have a variety of opportunities for you to serve by teaching, assisting teachers, leading worship. This is a great way to get to know families at Substance while making a huge impact on our children.
